About Cosimo
Cosimo is an AI agent for financial operations built by Medici & Company. It prepares recurring reports, checks, follow-ups, and review packs from the records your team already keeps. It is designed for banks, funds, insurance teams, and the administration, accounting, and advisory firms that serve financial institutions. Each engagement starts with one process, configured and tested with the team responsible for it.
What Cosimo Does
Cosimo brings figures and commentary from your records into a draft your team can check. We configure the process around your sources, calculations, reporting format, and approval requirements, with missing information and open questions marked for review. Your team checks the work, makes changes, and approves the final version.
Start with one report or recurring task. We agree the inputs, the output you need, and your data requirements, then configure and test that process with you. Once approved, the method is retained for subsequent runs. Cosimo is used daily by clients; the website examples use fictional records to show the work and its review steps.
Cosimo supports your operations team alongside your existing systems and advisers. Your team retains responsibility for approvals and professional decisions, including lending, investment, underwriting, and claims decisions. For funds, Cosimo works alongside the administrator and accountant; it is not the administrator of record.
Why Cosimo Requests Access to Google User Data
Cosimo offers an optional Google Calendar connection. When you choose to connect it, Google’s consent screen explains the permissions requested: reading calendar events and availability, and creating, updating, or deleting events. These permissions support scheduling questions and calendar actions you authorize.
Where enabled for your deployment, separate Gmail and Google Drive connections support working with messages and files. Each connection requires your consent; connecting Calendar does not itself connect Gmail or Drive. We agree which connections and actions your workflow needs during setup.
You can disconnect a Google connection from your account settings. Cosimo deletes its stored connection credential and attempts to revoke access with Google. You can also revoke access directly through your Google Account permissions.
Cosimo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our Privacy Policy describes in full how Google user data is accessed, used, stored, and protected.
